Bullying: How to spot the warning signs?

Children can be reluctant to tell their parents if they are being bullied. So here are some warning signs to look out for..

Your child starts having problems sleeping, they wake up in the night or suffer nightmares.

They don’t want to go to school or say they feel ill when there appears to be nothing wrong with them.

Your child may ask to be driven to school instead of walking or taking the bus – or they may want to walk a different route.

They lose interest in their school work or start doing badly in their studies and exams.

Your child doesn’t want to take part in any after-school clubs or activities that they used to really enjoy. Full story.
