Florida Boy Scouts, leader arrested for bullying

One boy scout leader and three boy scouts have been arrested after a bullying incident on Friday. The Three scouts forced another scout to drink urine…after they lured him away from the group….the arrested scouts say they were punishing him for making racial comments about another camper. Jack Sears of North Florida Boy Scouts says he is deeply disappointed by the incident, and the scouts involved have, naturally, lost their membership. Stephen Smith is a professor of special education at the University of Florida who specializes in adolescent behavior…he says adult supervision is the best way to avoid such incidents. But in the case of these boy scouts…there was a leader present..and Sears says the Boy Scouts take time and care to choose appropriate leaders. Full story.
