Bullying short film honored

Wellington writer/directors Mark Albiston and Louis Sutherland have been awarded a special distinction in the short film competition at the Cannes Film Festival for a second time in three years.

The duo’s The Six Dollar Fifty Man took the honour this year, following the success in 2007 of their acclaimed short film Run.

”It’s a huge honour to twice receive the special distinction in the short film competition, particularly as Cannes is the world’s most important film festival,” New Zealand Film Commission Short Film Manager Juliette Veber said. Full story.
